White Tea: A drink appreciated by tea connoisseurs. Offering subtle, complex yet delicate tones, this naturally sweet, unprocessed tea is produced after a traditional method that leaves the appearance of the leaves unaltered. The preparation process includes steaming and drying the tea leaves, ensuring these have a very low caffeine contents. Green Tea: The beverage of choice in Asia that has lately begun to rise in popularity in the Western world. Its widely recognized health benefits and natural aroma has made green tea a favourite of both tea lovers and non-tea drinkers. Oolong Tea: Tea with semi-fermented leaves that retain qualities of both green and black teas, full-bodied and fruity, sweet aroma, yet low in caffeine and relaxing. Black Tea: Full-bodied, strong flavour and a higher contents of caffeine are some of the traits of the Black Teas. A good pick-me up tea, sometimes is served with milk and sugar. Rooibos Tea: Higher in antioxidants than green tea, Rooibos Tea is made from a South African red bush that is caffeine free, rich in vitamins, natural minerals, and excellent in aiding with digestion. Served both iced and hot. Herbal Tea: A favorite in the summer herbal tea is made of fruit pieces and blossoms. Mate Tea: Mate, a wild shrub from Argentina, a relative of the holly bush, contains a stimulant similar to caffeine, addictive tendencies excluded. Reports show that the blends of natural chemicals present in Mate have different effects, when compared to just guarana or caffeine. Pu-Erh: A well renowned tea, made in the Yunnan province of China. Famed for its healing properties, this tea is aged for up to 15 years and is low in tannins. Good for digestion and weight loss. |
