Our Story

Veda Lounge was born out of passion for life, out of respect for the "Here" and the "Now". We strive to provide our guests with an environment where living the moment is much more than a concept. Within these walls let yourselves be carried away to anywhere and everywhere.

By doing so you will write the first pages of our story yourselves.

In here put all of your fears and doubts on hold, if your mind will wonder afar, you will be the ones who will first resonate with our story.

Upon founding Veda Lounge we thought of a place where guests will enjoy the subtle combination of Oriental and Occidental cultural and traditional elements such as our eclectic assortment of teas, perfumed incense and ambiental music with Indian, Arabic, Portuguese, South American and French origins. Veda Lounge means a relaxing trip away from the daily routine, where everyone would feel at home and in the good care of our staff.

We strive for the complete satisfaction of the senses, in a customer oriented environment, with a polite and friendly service. The rich textures and beneficial qualities of our aromatic tea, the luxurious tastes of our home made natural juices, as well as our rich hot chocolate and Brazilian coffee, combined with perfumed incense and the delicate sound of the Veda Lounge music will give you a relaxing experience you will likely never forget.

SIGHT
You will be pleasently surprised by our trademark combination of dark burgundy and warm colors, Oriental decorative elements coming from Indian, African, Turkish, Arabic, Moroccan, Spanish and French cultures, all bathed in the dim of peaceful light of the four rooms that compose the Veda Lounge.
Enjoy the bright colors of the narghiles in the Sahara room, alight with soft, warm golden hues, the typical Arabic and African decorative elements, as well as the relaxing cushions, while reading one of our book on traditional philosophies.
Visit and fall in love with the dark red Salon Louise, a place inspired by the French culture. The heavy wooden tables, neoclassical chairs and the art-nouveau doors will lead you to a place where you will lose track of time.
El Jardin awaits you in a more secluded area of Veda Lounge. Here is a place where you will be able enjoy a private conversation with friends or loved ones.
In the calm and peaceful light of Veda Lounge, visit Kashmir, our Indian corner. The handmade traditional mandalas, representing Indian deities, each bearing a message of transcendence, will inspire your true journey towards enlightenment.

SMELL
Jasmine, lotus, musk, amber, patchouli, rose and sandal incense will complete your journey into the Veda Lounge story, meaning seconds becoming eons of subtle, meditating relaxation. Take a deep breath of culture and perfumed air while enjoying conversation, reading one of our books or simply getting away from the bustle outside.
The smell of fresh fruit and brewed coffee and the bouquet of selected white and red wines as well as cider will accompany the Veda Lounge feeling, making your stay pleasurable and comfortable.

HEARING
Oriental music will contribute to the Veda Lounge ambiance. Regardless of tongue, the Veda Lounge music delivers the same consistency and atmosphere of a dream. Our compilation of over 5000 songs reminiscent of the Indian, French, Arabic, Turkish, South American and African cultures, transposed in warm, gentle beats, will fill the air of Veda Lounge. Close you eyes and enjoy our flavored tea while listening to the subtle relaxing tones. One is the loneliest number, yet within Veda Lounge you are never alone, our staff and our music will keep you company.

Our selected assortment of tea is what the Veda Lounge is all about. Carefully respecting the details of each recipe and service temperatures, or staff will bring the healthy, rich and aromatic flavors of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Moroccan, Argentinian and Turkish tea at your table. Rooibos, Oolong, white tea, black tea, green tea and herbal infusions will enrich your taste experience.
But tea is not all we specialize in. Veda Lounge offers over 40 recipes of natural juices, shakes and smoothies, divided into several categories such as Energy Explosion, Health Boosters or Detox Days. Great fruits, great tastes, great health effects.
Enjoy our fresh home made hot chocolate, and transform it into your own signature drink by choosing from our great variety of syrups one that will transform your drink into a revitalizing potion.
